 It has definitely been an excitement-filled eight months for KP (Kristiyanong Pinoy) from the time the website was first launched online in November of 2007. There were only three of us then who had fully committed to the website’s vision plus a programmer who was willing to help us create the site for free. For the domain registration and web hosting, we had to pull out from our own pockets whatever financial resources we had, despite the fact that some of us were even struggling financially. We has been dreaming big with our eyes open since then.
It wasn’t very soon until more challenges came to test our commitment to see KP’s vision come to pass. Despite the setbacks though, God had never held back in blessing us with divine connections that pushed us further to get where we are right now. It had definitely been a journey made possible only through God-given grace and persistence. Nevertheless, after eight months of pursuing the vision to be a vessel for Christ’s presence to be known in the world wide web, we know we’ve barely scratched the surface of Kristiyanong Pinoy’s potential.
For this reason, we seriously prayed about refocusing and sharpening the site’s agenda. During our team prayer, God stirred up a desire to refashion the website in line with a deeper and more specific purpose – to be a prophetic voice in our nation. Thus, not very far from now, we will be presenting to you a revived Kristiyanong Pinoy with its fresher sound and cutting edge look.
But before that, we’re letting you take a sneak peek of what’s about to come. We’re also inviting you to be part. We are open to partnerships with ministries or individuals, especially those who are interested in sharing God’s Word through writing and news reporting (or even just coordinating article submissions or proofreading).
