Awesome morning
My Daddy reigns!
I love it when Daddy puts me on His lap.
Me wearing peejees
and Him wearing His robe,
His majestic "Daddy King" robe.
His face is splendid,
my handsome Daddy King.
He frowns at the bad people
but when He turns his face to me,
I can't help but touch the laugh lines that form
near the corners of His eyes.
His cheeks are full
and His lips are stretched.
Endless smile!

Then I'd look up to His crown
and like a baby, say,
"Daddy can I touch it?"
The stones they glitter to eternity,
like His endless love for me.
Like a jewel, His heart is.
By then I'd realize
my foolishness again...
But all He does is cup my face -
hands so huge...
We'd drown in each other's smile.
I know eternity... is gazing at his smile forever.
'Til then, all I could say is
I love you Daddy.
