ring of fire nations flagsOver two thousand delegates from different Christian churches in Asia and other continents gathered from August 19-21, 2008 to participate in the 'historic' and 'very first' Ring of Fire Convergence which was held in Indonesia.  The majority of foreign delegates came from Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore.  Delegates from Hong Kong/China, USA, Australia, Israel, and Canada were very much present.  In Fact, the Jesus Revolution (JREV) USA Team assisted in the pre-conference mobilization work.

mga bayani ng pilipinasI am a granddaughter of a revolutionary. Whenever I am asked to write a piece on my family, I always include the little tidbit on my great-great-great grandfather who was a revolutionary in Compostela, Cebu. To this day, a statue of this fighter still stands in Compostela. It feels good to say that in my veins is blood that once watered our homeland.
